John Barber
John Barber became principal of Lake Gibson Middle School at the beginning of the 1999-2000 school year. Mr. Barber has a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He is certified in Ed Leadership in all levels, Emotional Handicap K-12, Math 5-9, Psychology 6-12, and school Principal, all levels. He has also served as Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Administration for 10 years. His past experience has been as a special ed, math, and computer teacher at Kathleen Middle School as well as assistant principal at Southwest Middle and Lake Gibson Middle.
